Doors to Luxury is a concierge service operated by Destination Tour Leaders Tourism L.L.C., a company licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Licence No. 1100256). Discretion is at the heart of what we do. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

It covers our website and the way we handle your information when you enquire or book with us by email, phone or messaging apps. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Destination Tour Leaders Tourism L.L.C., trading as Doors to Luxury.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Destination Tour Leaders Tourism L.L.C., Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is responsible for your personal information (the “controller”). You can reach us about anything in this policy at concierge@doorstoluxury.com.

2. What we collect

Enquiry details. When you use our contact form or write to us: your name, email address, phone number and the details of your request.
Booking details. When we arrange services for you: the names of guests travelling with you, travel dates, flight details, preferences and, where a hotel, airport service, yacht operator or authority requires it, passport or ID details.
Special requirements. Dietary needs, accessibility requirements or similar details you choose to share. Some of this can be sensitive. We use it only to arrange what you asked for and share it only with the providers who need it.
Invoicing and payment records. Invoices, amounts, dates and billing details.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used for security and to keep the site working.

You don’t have to give us any information. However, if we don’t have the details a service provider requires, we may not be able to arrange that service for you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

The providers who deliver what you book, such as hotels and villas, yacht and boat operators, chauffeur and car rental companies, private aviation operators, airport meet-and-greet teams, restaurants and activity providers, and for delegation visits, venues and hosts. They receive only what they need to deliver the service, and they handle it under their own privacy policies.
Our technology providers, who process information on our behalf: HostIQ (website hosting), Web3Forms (delivers contact form messages to our inbox) and Google Workspace (email).
Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, who are bound by confidentiality.
Authorities, where the law requires us to, for example immigration, tax or law enforcement authorities.

Our website also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When you visit, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that connection.

5. International transfers

We are based in the UAE, and our services take place in several countries, so your information may be sent abroad. This includes:

to the providers delivering your booking in your destination, for example in the UAE, Seychelles or Greece;
to our website hosting provider, whose servers are in the Netherlands;
to Google, which may process information in the United States and other countries.

We send only what is needed for each purpose. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the contractual protections our providers offer. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking: up to 24 months, then deleted.
Booking, invoice and payment records: for as long as UAE accounting and tax law requires, which is generally at least five years.
Passport and ID copies: deleted once they are no longer needed for the service, normally within 90 days after your trip ends, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Website server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
delete your information;
restrict or object to how we use it;
give you your information in a portable format;
stop using it for anything you consented to, by withdrawing your consent at any time.

To make a request, email concierge@doorstoluxury.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. We will reply within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first. Some information we must keep for legal reasons, and we will tell you if that applies.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the UAE, the UAE Data Office; in the European Union, the authority in your country; and in Seychelles, the Information Commission.

8. Security

We limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you, we work with established technology providers, and our website uses an encrypted (SSL) connection. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure. If a breach is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

9. Children

Our services are arranged by adults. When you book for your family, you may share your children’s details as their parent or guardian, and we use them only to arrange your trip. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

10. Cookies

Our website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
